Most individuals who enter our industry do so in quite the opposite manner than we did--they accumulate the service industry experience then open a retail store. We assembled the retail, corporate and business knowledge first, the industry knowledge second and then opened a retail store in 1986. This path allowed our family-owned business to professionalize our tarnished industry by offering a high standard in customer service backed by our highly trained professional staff and a fully stocked inventory.
