OUR
STANDARD POOL CLOSING INCLUDES:

Installation
of your winter cover and air pillow (water tubes, if necessary)

Draining
of filter system

Cleaning
of pool (vacuuming, skimming, scooping or brushing) of
minor debris for about 25 minutes. Removing
of
excessive debris is extra and prior notice is needed.

Adding
winter closing products to pool water (shock, winter algaecide,
stain control and clarifier) and pool-line
antifreeze
to inground pool lines.
YOUR
RESPONSIBILITIES BEFORE POOL CLOSING ARE:

Providing
air pillows, winter cover, water tubes (water tubes are
for inground pools and above ground pools
with
decks), plugs, gizmos, etc.

Lowering
water level to bottom of returns.

You
must notify us before scheduled closing of any special
instructions, directions or requests you may
have
pertaining to your pool
YOUR
RESPONSIBILITIES AFTER POOL CLOSING ARE:

We
recommend that above ground filter systems (filter, pump
and motor) be taken inside for the winter
season
or at least be covered with a tarp. Removal of sand from
your sand filter is recommended.

Accumulation
of excess water on top of solid covers will pull cover
into pool & cause structural damage to
pool
and/or cover. EXCESS WATER MUST BE PUMPED OFF SOLID COVERS
DURING CLOSED SEASON.
WATER
THAT ACCUMULATES ON TOP OF COVER POSES A DROWNING RISK.
CONSTANT
SUPERVISION
OF CHILDREN IS NECESSARY.

Deflated
inground water tubes may contribute to cover falling into
pool. Replace water tubes. Do not secure
cover
with objects that may get pulled into pool—such
as potted plants, lawn furniture, bricks, etc. If these
objects
fall into pool, liner will tear.

Animals
or pets can easily puncture water tubes or covers. Patch
or replace any damaged water tubes
that
occur during the closed season.

Sometimes
air pillows may deflate. This is customary due to water
and/or ice expansion. The mass of a
deflated
air pillow will still absorb ice expansion. A few plastic
containers partially filled with water will also
do
the trick.

It
is impossible to secure above ground air pillows in the
center of the pool. Pillows have a tendency to move
due
to wind, uneven or excess cover water, snow or ice. Air
pillows that have moved from the center of the
pool
will still perform their function.
